NIKE | Forward
Nike had a problem most brands would envy: a genuinely groundbreaking new fabric, and no way to show how it was made.
IP protection meant the manufacturing process couldn't be filmed. The innovation was real, but the usual visual proof — factory floors, machinery, process — was off the table. The story needed to be told entirely through the people behind it.
All Ages built a short documentary around the innovators themselves: the researchers, engineers, and designers whose obsessive pursuit of something better produced a material unlike anything Nike had made before. Where the process couldn't be shown, we used animation and creative visual techniques to bridge the gap — keeping the momentum of discovery alive without ever crossing the line.
The film launched Nike Forward to the public through its first product, a completely reimagined hoodie. By the time viewers got there, they already understood why it mattered — because they'd met the people who lost sleep over it.
