CTC Artist Initiative

In 2018, as the Comcast Technology Center was beginning to rise into the Philadelphia skyline, we were handed an unusual brief: document a building's construction in a way compelling enough to attract top tech talent from around the world to Philadelphia.

We ignored the building and focused on the people making art inside it.

The Comcast Technology Center had quietly assembled one of the most ambitious corporate art collections in the country - internationally renowned installations in the lobbies, custom work from Philadelphia artists and makers throughout the workspaces. We used that collection as the lens, producing a multi-part series that moved from young street artists finding their voice to Steven Spielberg, weaving a portrait of a company genuinely invested in the culture of the city it calls home.

The result wasn't a construction doc. It was a recruitment film that didn't feel like one - a visual argument that Philadelphia, and Comcast's place in it, was somewhere worth showing up for.
